一点就着:The Dinosaurs of Long Ago 生活在遥远过去的恐龙 Very long ago,there were no people. It was very hot. Water was all around. There was water in many places where there is now land. On the hot wet land, there were dinosaurs! Dinosaurs were the biggest animals that ever lived on land. Some were as high as a house. Some were as long as a big truck. Most dinosaurs were very big,but some were as little as cats. Some dinosaurs were land animals. Some dinosaurs were water animals. Some could fly in the air. The biggest dinosaurs stood in the water most of the time. Some dinosaurs ate plants. The plants they ate were as tall as trees. Other dinosaurs ate meat. Sometimes they fought against each other. This was long, long ago, very long ago, when there were no people. It was hot. Water was all around. Then the world got cold. Other animals came, and there were new green plants. The world began to be more like the world we know today. The dinosaurs died. All of them died. Why? Did the world get too cold for the dinosaurs to live? Did it get too cold for the plants that they liked to eat? Is that why the dinosaurs died? We do not really know. All we know is that the dinosaurs died. Then how do we know there ever were dinosaurs? People found dinosaur bones. One bone here, another bone there. They found big dinosaur bones in many places all over the world. Some men put the big bones together. They said"These bones are from animals that lived long, long ago. The animals looked like this. We will call them dinosaurs."
