俊金:long long ago in the day of Roman empire people used to believe in the god of farming named satur the romans believed that satur knew the weather good or bad they thought they decided how much rain would fall before a roman farmer in his field he would pray to saturn to give him good weather the farmer believed if he killed an animal for saturn it would make the god happy then saturn would make sure the weather is good the roman farmer not only named the planet after saturn but they also named the day of week they called the day as saturning this are latin words that meant day of saturn in english this name became saturday
