(D.C)chapter 18

In (D.C)chapter 18 of the story, Mr. Pagotti"s search for his niece takes him to London where he finds lodgings. He meets with Mrs. Stilforth who is worried about her son and denies his marriage to Emily. Rosa Dutto expresses anger towards Mr. Pagotti"s presence and dismisses the importance of James Stilforth and his niece. Despite the disappointment and anger around him, Mr. Pagotti remains determined to find his beloved niece.
