(D.C)chapter 24

In Chapter 24 of The Emigrants, the story revolves around the journey to Australia and the characters Mr. Pagotti, Emily, Mrs. Garnage and Martha. The chapter begins with a farewell at the ship and the news of someone"s death in Stilford is kept hidden to avoid sadness during the long journey. It is revealed that Martha is joining them on their trip to Australia along with another family named Mr. and Mrs. McBurr. Later on in the chapter, it is discovered that Euryale Heap is a Disaolist villain and he is eventually put into prison for his actions.
